The son of Ronald James Waldo and Janet Kaye Bown-Webb, Ron was born on September 15,

1971, in Des Moines, Iowa. On September 22, 2001, he was united in marriage to LaRonna Johnson.

If you were lucky enough to have Ron befriend you then you knew first-hand how dedicated he was to make sure you were not just a friend, you were family, and because of that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for you.

Ron started his career as a tow truck driver which developed into a long career as a repo man.

In recent years he wanted a more relaxing job and decided to become a truck driver. Ron spent the last couple of years hauling a tanker, just like his dad.

Ron lived in several places throughout his life, finally settling down in Colfax in 2005. In 2011 he joined the Colfax Fire Department. Through the fire department he became an instructor and
enjoyed teaching new members everything he knew about the fire service and enjoyed helping
with fire safety week at the elementary school.

He had many hobbies over the years which
included: racing, boating, biking, camping, and cooking. He really loved sitting around a bonfire
with his friends.

Those left to honor his memory include his beloved wife, LaRonna; his babies, Halligan and Rosco; his son, Brandon (Haley) Davis; grandchildren, Andrew, Addisan, Gabriel, and Lilly; brother-in-law: Scott (Melanie) Johnson, his siblings, Sherry (Brian) Edwards, Ted (Tricia) Mikesell, and Daniel Durham; his nieces and nephews. Preceding Ron in death were his parents and a brother, David Durham.
