Craig Allan Murra Obituary
Craig Allan Murra, age 64, of Pella, Iowa, passed away at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, on February 10, 2024. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left for his family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The son of William Lee Murra and Karen Raye (Burgstrom) Murra, Craig was born in Iowa Falls, Iowa, on January 15, 1960. He was one of five children. Craig grew up in Webster City, Iowa, and graduated from Webster City High School in 1978. Also in that year, Craig married Kimberly Royster of Duncombe, Iowa. Together the couple had three children and divorced in 1998. Craig enjoyed watching football, playing golf, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was known for his kind acts of service to friends and strangers alike. Craig was passionate about politics, space, and food but nothing compared to the passion he had for his three children and eight grandchildren.

Among those left to honor Craig’s memory include his children and their families; Craig’s oldest daughter; Jennifer (Aaron) Trausch of Monroe, Iowa, their children; Nathen, Jarron, Hayden, and Annabelle Trausch, Craig’s son; Lee (fiancé Brittany Harris) Murra, of Webster City, Iowa, their children; Tegan and Bryson Murra, and Craig’s youngest daughter; Elizabeth (Shaun) Glazier, of Priest River, Idaho, and their children; Meric and Matix Glazier, his siblings, and stepmother, Victoria Murra.

Preceding Craig in death were his parents; William Lee Murra and Karen Raye (Burgstrom) Murra.
