Brian Keith Findley
February 4, 1970 - January 14, 2024

Brian Keith Findley age 53, passed away Sunday evening Jan. 14th, 2024 after a hard and long battle with congestive heart failure and struggles with diabetes. Brian was born Feb, 4th, 1970 in Iowa City, Ia. He was the oldest of two children to Grant and Patty (Warner) Findley Brian grew up and lived in Colfax his whole life and he was a Colfax-Mingo graduate, Class of 1989. He worked at several restaurants as a cook, including Culvers in Newton. Brian loved camping, fishing, hunting, spending time at parties with friends, always doing something crazy, and getting the name FINDOG. He also loved morel mushrooms and hunting them every year. Brian was a compassionate man and he loved spending time with family.

Those left to honor his memory include his mother Patty Findley, sister Amy Drake, and nieces and nephews, Darian, Payton, and Leah Drake. Preceding Brian in death were his father Grant Findley, grandparents Charles and Beulah Findley, grandparents Harold and Marcella Warner, Aunt Susie DuRocher and Uncle Kelly Warner.

Celebration of life services will be held Sat, Jan. 20th, 2024 at 10:30 at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. Memorials may be directed to Brian's family and can be sent to the church.
