Audrey Shirley Buchanan (Granny Buck) age 80 passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 in Des Moines, IA. Per Audrey’s wishes there will be a small service held in Colfax, LA in the Spring of 2024.

Audrey was born July 24, 1943 in Canada. Audrey enjoyed gardening and watching birds as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Those left to honor her memory include a daughter Kathy Vriezelaar of Prairie City, IA, a son Richard Knight (Lois) of Shelbina, MO, a daughter in law Cathy Buchanan, her grandchildren Blaine (Ellie) Vriezelaar, of Des Moines, IA, Brandon Vriezelaar of Newton, IA and Bryan (Shannon) Vriezelaar of Prairie City, IA, Ashley (Kevin Kitchen) of Woodworth, LA, her great grandchildren Fira Vriezelaar, Remy Vriezelaar, Colby Vriezelaar, Ian Vriezelaar, Luella Vriezelaar, Toby Vriezelaar, Karlee Kitchen, and Karson Kitchen. Preceding Audrey in death were her parents, husband Buck Buchanan and a son Donald (Buck) Earl Buchan
