Obituary

Glenda K. (Simons) McGaha, of Lexington, KY, passed away peacefully in her home in the presence of her family. Glenda was the daughter of Glen and Evelyn (Castorf) Simons of Newton, IA. She was born August 16, 1945, and entered eternity to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 14, 2023.

She lived her life as a testament to Christ with love and compassion for all. She leaves behind her husband, Jay McGaha, daughter, Mechelle McGaha, and grandson, Brigham Romriell McGaha, to continue her legacy in Christ.

Also surviving her are her brothers: Fred (Bonnie) Simons, David (Paulette) Simons, and several nieces and nephews.

For those that would like to attend, two celebrations of life will be held; one in Kentucky and one in Iowa:

Kentucky - September 16, 2023, 1pm-4pm, at Man O War Church, 1501 Trent Boulevard, Lexington, KY, 40515;

Iowa - September 22, 2023, 2pm-5pm, at Daniel J. Krumm Center, 3000 N 4th Ave E, Newton, IA 50208.

Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.
