Mrs. Stewart Pitcock died at her home in Mingo, Tuesday morning. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. King.
Rebecca Sours was born in Morgan county, Ohio, Oct. 15th, 1835; departed this life, Jan. 18th, 1898, being 62 years, 3 months, and 3 days old. She was married to Stewart Pitcock in 1853 in Morgan county, Ohio and moved to Iowa in 1865. There were five children born to them of whom there are living Alcinda, Alex and Joseph who with the husband are left to mourn her loss. She united with the Christian church in 1894 and has lived a faithful Christian life ever since.
