Phillip Alan Northcutt, 46, formerly of Colfax, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005.

Funeral services were held Saturday at LDS Sandy Second Ward in South Jordan, Utah. Burial was at City of Provo, Utah Cemetery. Jenkins-Soffee Funeral Chapel in South Jordan, Utah, handled arrangements.

He was born May 4, 1959 in Newton. He graduated from Colfax High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was an elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked as a supervisor for Quality Tech. of Sandy, Utah.

Survivors include his wife; Rashel; son, Alan (Trudy) Northcutt; daughter, Amanda (Bryce) Ivie; five grandchildren; his mother, Marlene R, Mickelson; father, Dennis A. Northcutt; brothers, Todd Northcutt, Larry Phipps, Charles (Daphne) Owens; a sister, Tonya (Jim) Perkins; his father- and mother-in-law, brothers- and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
