Services for Mary Tripp, 94, of 1214 Fourth St., will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home with burial at Ashton Cemetery near Collins. She died Friday at Mercy Hospital after she suffered a stroke two weeks ago.
Miss Tripp had lived in Des Moines for 70 years. Until retirement in 1958, she was a machine operator at Cownie Glove Co. and C. P. Brown Co. She was a graduate of Redfield High School and a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Margaret E. M. Bish of Des Moines, and other nieces and nephews.
