Viers, Doris A Hays – 1935-2014

Doris Audrey (Hays) Viers went to be with the Lord at 9 p.m. May 21st at her home in Wellton, Arizona with her daughters Tammy Viers and Teann Frantz by her side.
Doris Viers was born February 18th 1935 to Harry hays and Margaret (Mooreland) Hays in Farrar, Iowa.
Doris was a devoted wife and mother and later was able to do what she had always wanted to do, drive semi for a living. Her grandchildren have fond memories of being with her on some of her trips. Her husband and daughter Tammy drove with her as well.
She is survived by her daughters Tammy Viers of Wellton, Arizona and Teann Frantz of Des Moines, Iowa. Three grandchildren Shanna Robinson (Todd) of Des Moines, Shelly Frantz of Des Moines and Scott Frantz (Nikki) of Des Moines. Three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Frantz of Des Moines, Virginia Callahan and Paris Frantz of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert Viers, infant son Robert Viers Jr., father Harry Hays and mother Margaret Hays, sister Carol Sager, and brother Dale (Butch) Hays.
Family will receive friends and family at 1:30 p.m. July 26th at Ashton Church with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. followed by her being laid to rest beside her husband at Ashton Cemetery.
