Mrs. Rachel Berry, who has been in delicate health for several years, died Friday noon, Aug. 5, 1909, very unexpectedly, as no one had realized she was feeling worse than usual.
Mrs. Berry was converted at an early age and died in faith of a bright future. She was a hardworking, conscientious woman whose life was one of loving sacrifices for her loved ones.
The funeral was held at the home Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. T. F. Martin of Farrar preached from St. John 14-1 on “Antidote to Trouble.” A chorus rendered music and a large number of friends attended. The floral offerings were beautiful.
