William A. Blood, 64, of Pender, Neb., died of cancer Wednesday at Veterans Administration medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Runnells Christian Church, and burial will be at Vandalia Cemetery.
Mr. Blood was born near Runnells and resided the past few years in Pender, where he operated a motel. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, June; two daughters, Karen Armstrong and Sharon Hammer, both of Pender; his mother, Ada Blood of Mitchellville; two brothers, Elmer of Mitchellville and Melvin of Des Moines; and two sisters, Helen White and Gladys Gulling, both of Runnells.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Friends may visit after 9 a.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle.
