Dies of Injuries In Fall at Home
Mechanicsville, IA – Services for G. W. Graham, 65, farmer, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Horner Funeral Home in Mechanicsville, with burial in the Graham cemetery near Mingo at 3 p.m.
Graham died Tuesday as a result of injuries suffered in a fall at his farm home near Mechanicsville.
Graham is survived by a son, Ralph of Mechanicsville; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Gardner of Maxwell, and a sister, Mrs. C. L. Gifford of Nevada.
Graham had lived in the Mingo-Farrar area for several years before moving to Mechanicsville.

Mechanicsville Man Dies of Fall Injuries
Mechanicsville – George W. Graham, 69, retired Mechanicsville farmer, died Tuesday morning of injuries suffered earlier in the day in a fall from a ladder.
Graham was repairing the roof on his house and was standing on a ladder. When the ladder broke, he fell to a cement sidewalk. He was taken to University hospitals in Iowa City but died shortly after arrival there.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Ralph, of Mechanicsville, and a daughter, Marjorie Gardner of Maxwell.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Horner funeral home.
