R. B. Martin, 65 years old, pioneer resident of Des Moines, died at the home of his son in Detroit, Mich., Thursday morning, March 27, of pneumonia.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia martin, and an adopted son, Wesley.
Mr. Martin was a member of the A.O.U.W. and while in Des Moines was a painting contractor.
His wife was with him at the time of his death and accompanied the body to Valeria, Ia., where the funeral will be held upon the arrival of the body.
