Fatal accident – On Tuesday evening, M. I. Densmore, a young man 19 years of age, who was at work for Mr. L. Bair, who resides about four miles west of Newton, was found on the road in an unconscious condition. He had been hauling cane to the cane mill, and was returning home at about four o’clock, when from cause unknown he fell or was thrown from the wagon, and sustained such injuries as to cause his death at 12 o’clock the following night. He was found in about half an hour after he had last been seen in the wagon, and the team was found about forty rods from where he lay. He was a son of Mr. John Dinsmore, of Prairie City. – Democrat
