Peter Thomas Stodden, 54, formerly of Colfax, died June 23, 2014, after an extended battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
Peter was born Aug. 30, 1959, to Vernon Fred Stodden Sr. and Carol Ann Hawn Stodden. He graduated from Colfax High School in 1977, and was a chef by trade.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Marie of Stephenville, Texas; three brothers, Woody of Alexandria, VA, Vernon Fred Jr. of Des Moines and Stephen of Tulsa, Okla.; and two sisters, Margaret Ruiz of Aurora, Ill., and Amy Miller of Diagonal; and aunt, Norma Jean Warnock of Mitchellville.
His body was donated to the University of Texas for science research.
