The Jasper Free Press of yesterday says that last Monday, “at Greencastle, George Knouse was kicked in the stomach by a horse so severely that he died the next day. He was an excellent young man, and his funeral on Wednesday was attended by a large concourse of mourners and friends. He was engaged to an estimable young lady and it is supposed that the wedding day was not far distant.”
