Quite a sudden death occurred in our midst last week, that of our much loved friend and neighbor, Mattie Stover. She was sick just a week and suffered untold agony till death relieved her about noon Wednesday, May 13. She was interred by the side of her father in Adamson Grove Cemetery, May 14th. Funeral services held at the U. P. church in Wild Cat, conducted by Rev. Brown, of the Congregational church. She leaves a mother, brother and sister, to mourn her death.
