Oskaloosa – Clarence “Bud” Garrett, 87, of Oskaloosa, a former resident of Colfax, died Saturday, March 7, at the Pleasant Park manor in Oskaloosa.
Graveside rites will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the McKeever Cemetery, north of Colfax.
Survivors are three sisters, Lillian Garrett of San Jose, Calif., Mary (Mrs. don) Wickliff of Newton and Helen (Mrs. Jay) Vander Schel of Newton; and two brothers, William, of Adair and John of Guthrie Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers and a sister.
The son of William and Hila Ann Stillings Garrett, he was born June 6, 1899 in Colfax.
