Robert Dooley Dies Saturday; Rites Tuesday
Colfax – Robert Dale Dooley, 48, a longtime resident of Colfax, died Saturday evening at the Des Moines General Hospital
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. John McKinstry, pastor of the Colfax Christian Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the McKeever Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife; Vera; three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Debbra) Morgan of Colfax, Mrs. Kenneth (Pamela) Tague of Newton and Tamyie White of Colfax; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Earl (Shirley) Gilbert of West Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Dooley was a baptized member of the Church of Christ.
He had been an employee of the Monroe Co in Colfax for many years.
The son of Richard and Annie McKeever Dooley, he was born Oct. 6, 1931 in Colfax.
He was married to Vera Bonnett Jan. 7, 1950 in Newton.
Mr. Dooley also had resided at Oskaloosa and Reasnor.
