SULLY - Pauline Jansen, 90, of Pella and formerly of Sully, died Tuesday, July 30, in Inn Care, Pella Regional Health Center.

Her funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Sully Christian Reformed Church in Sully. Burial: Sully Cemetery. Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: The Bible League or Sully Christian Grade School. Visiting hours will be open all day Friday at the funeral home, with family present 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Pauline Baarda was born Feb. 24, 1912, in Jasper County near Kellogg to Isaac and Hilda Baarda.

She married William D. Jansen on Jan. 27, 1932, in Sully. He died Feb. 10, 1976. She was a homemaker. She lived near Sully and Lynnville until 1969, when she moved into Sully.

In October 2000 she moved to Fair Haven East in Pella. She was a member of Sully Christian Reformed Church and the church's Lydia Society, and Sully Senior Citizens. She enjoyed flowers, the outdoors and music.

She is survived by three children and spouses: Zelda L. adn Arie Engbers Jr. of Sully, Ronald R. and Verla Nibbelink Jansen of Sully, and Deloris F. and Ronald E. McKeag of Sully; a daughter-in-law, Marcia Tysseling Jansen of Kellogg; 16 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Arletta Baarda of Sully, Madeline Baarda of Lynnville and Alberta Struik of Sully.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Will D. Jansen; a son, Lowell D. Jansen; three grandsons: Monty Joel Jansen, Curtis Maasdam and Larry Maasdam; a great-granddaughter, Amy Jo Broek; brothers Klaas, Dick, Benjamin, John, Joseph and William Baarda; and sisters Anna Nikkel, Elizabeth Nikkel and Matilda Van Manen.
