Ralph Dale Wallace Jr., 68, of 1226 E. 37th St. died of cancer Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, and burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery.
Mr. Wallace lived in Des Moines all his life and retired as a truck driver for Pinkerton Security services. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Donna; three sons, Mike of Galveston, Texas, and Robert Sr. and Randy, both of Des Moines; a daughter, Debra Wallace of Des Moines; two brothers, Eldon of Galveston and Bob of Corpus Christi, Texas; four sisters, Patti Range of Kansas City, Kan., Nona Ray of Phoenix, Ariz., and Penny Duke and Betty Sinn, both of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
