Harry J. “Hub” Quinn, 59, of 3305 E. 15th St., died of a heart attack Thursday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at West Madison Church of Christ, of which he was a member. Burial will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Mr. Quinn was born in St. Marys and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He retired from Iowa Power after having been a lineman and later a tree crew supervisor.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; three sons, Harry jr., Patrick and Dan, all of Des Moines; three daughters, Lou Quinn of Los Lunas, N.M., Jo Wright of Des Moines and Cindy Kneale of Sunrise, Fla.; two brothers, Thomas of Runnells and John of Des Moines; four sisters, Bonita Davidson of Colfax, Marilyn Dietrich of Anaheim, Calif., and Mary Horstman and Thelma Quinn, both of Newton; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
