Wanda W. Connett Bennett, 74, of 1036 Pennsylvania Ave. died of a stroke Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, with burial at Vandalia Cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett was born in Minnesota and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Michael and Marvin, and a sister, Mabel Hodge, all of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Shalom Home of Holy Family School.
