The son of Ron and Viola Beatrice (Karr) Dehne, Kenneth was born on October 29, 1966 in Iowa City, Iowa. Kenny attended Monroe High school with the graduating class of 1985. After high school, he continued full time in various professions throughout his life, but before his health declined, he worked as a heavy machine operator for the Elder Corporation. He enjoyed the rodeo life, especially riding bulls. He had a huge heart and was always helping out his loved ones. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving 18 wheelers across the county, playing the drums, and attending his daughter's school activities. He loved spending time with his twin grandsons. To him, they were the light of his life. Although Reba, his dog, didn't care for anyone but him, Kenny loved that dog.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters, Tiffany (Ata) Haji, Danielle (Nate Stidolph) Crosby, Courtney (Kyle) Van Der Hart, Bobbi Shook and Ashley (Jacen) McRoberts; two grandchildren, Kooper and Kole; his parents, Vi (Ron) Dehne and his siblings, Bonnie Nolin, Bettie Noah, Billie (Paula) Noah, Sue (Larry) Turner and Rita (Scott) Van Veen. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Kenneth Clyde and Vivian Karr and a brother-in-law, Roger Nolin.
