Gwendolyn L. Lint, 96, of Maxwell died Tuesday of complications arising from Alzheimer’s disease. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell, with the Rev. Jonathan Chadwick officiating. Burial will be in the Ashton Cemetery near Baxter.
Gwendolyn L. Boitnott was born in Maxwell to George and Berta (Milhouse) Boitnott. In 1914, she married Frank Dunlap in Polk County. He preceded her in death in 1941, she married Hugh Lint. He died in 1974.
A resident of the Maxwell area for most of her life, Mrs. Lint was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ashton Sunshine Club and the Peoria U.M.W. Mrs. Lint’s hobbies included tatting.
Mrs. Lint is survived by two daughters, Boni Lee Gable of Carson City, Nev. and Kay White of Maxwell, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Virginia Fertig of Collins, and one brother, Joe Boitnott of Marshalltown.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, two daughters and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
