James Campbell, who passed away on Friday, December 7th, at his home in this place, was a victim of dropsy. He was unmarried and his sister, Mrs. Leonard, had been keeping house for him. He was a pioneer of this county and had lived near Ira since in the sixties. His funeral was on Sunday, 9th, and his remains were laid to rest in the Tramel cemetery where two brothers repose.
