Agnes Eveleen Hawkins, age 99 of Monroe, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Accura Healthcare - East in Newton. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11:00 am at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Walter and Edna (Bell) Gifford, Agnes was born on April, 1, 1923 near Kellogg, Iowa. On June 5, 1942, she was united in marriage to Jason Burton Hawkins in Lancaster, Missouri. Agnes enjoyed feeding the neighborhood stray cats and spending time with her grandchildren and other family.

Those left to honor her memory include her son-in-law, Jerry Miller; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Jason; two sons, Jack and Burton Hawkins; two daughters, Sharon Miller and Jane Hawkins; two daughter-in-laws, Judy Hawkins and Sharon Kay Jones, and three grandchildren.
