California Man Dies Near P.C.
The body of a California man was found Sunday evening south of Prairie City.
Deputy Sheriff Tom Nevins said the victim, Johnny Wayne Hickman, 43, of Mission Viejo, Calif., died of a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head.
The body was taken to Walters Funeral Home in Monroe.

Hickman Rites On Wednesday
Graveside rites for John Wayne Hickman, 43, of Mission Viejo, Calif., who died Sunday in Prairie City, will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning at the Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
Among survivors are his wife, Mrs. Erma Lea Hickman of Prairie City; and four children, Vicky, Cindy, Tammy and Jay, all of Prairie City.
