Mary Katherine (Redeen) Catron
11/08/1939 - 02/12/2022.
Interred with parents (Edna and Mel Redeen) at Newton Union Cemetery, Newton Iowa.
Predeceased by her Aunt Lillian and Uncle Bert Holst of Boone, Iowa; her cousins Elaine Roth (of Virginia) and Phyllis Johnson (of Indiana) and husband/love of her life Bill Catron.
Spent the last years of her life in the wonderful and loving care of the staff at Granger Nursing home. They shared these fond memories of Mary.
She smoked Marlboro lights and loved coffee
She talked about her High School a lot and how she liked to pick on the wrestling team, and how she could ""kick their butts"
She loved being outside, she loved snuggling with cats
Her favorite food was Pepsi and pepperoni pizza and Honey Buns
And lastly, when Donald Trump was running for President, she thought he was the "hottest man alive"
Special thanks to Staff at Granger Nursing and Rehab who took such amazing care of her all these years and to Suncrest Hospice that provided additional comfort at the end. You are all wonderful people, thank you.
