Services Sunday For Mrs. Madison
Colfax (Special) – Funeral services for Margaret R. Madison, 54, a resident of Colfax for the past 41 years who died Wednesday evening at her home, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Bumgardner Funeral Home at Colfax.
The Rev. Charles Reed, pastor of the Baptist church, will conduct the services. Burial will be at Colfax cemetery.
Mrs. Madison is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Mable Smith of Cleveland, O.; five sons, Walter and Robert of De Moines, Roy of Chicago, David in the Army in Germany and Johnny of Colfax; and eight grandchildren.
The daughter of James and Mary Toney, she was born Jan. 23, 1903 at Buxton, Iowa.
Educated in Colfax schools, she was married to Gerald Madison in 1920 in Colfax.
Mrs. Madison was a member of the Colfax Baptist church.

Conduct Services For Mrs. Madison
Colfax (Special) – Funeral services for Mrs. Gerald (Margaret) Madison, 54, of Colfax, who died Wednesday, were held Sunday at Bumgardner Funeral home at Colfax.
The Rev. Charles Reed, pastor of the Colfax Baptist church, conducted thee services. Burial was in Colfax cemetery.
Mrs. Nancy Tobias, the soloist, was accompanied on the organ by Mrs. George Rinker.
In charge of flowers were Mrs. Horace Cole and Mrs. Bernice Madison.
Pallbearers were Horace Cole, Walter Madison, Roy Madison, Johnny Madison, Robert Madison and William Smith.
