Andrew Jacob Mouchka, 34, of Newton died on Monday, January 31, 2022, in Middle Amana. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 09, 2022, at Newton Union Cemetery. Memorials in Andrew’s name may be left at the graveside or at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (checks made payable to Jane Mouchka).

Andrew, the son of Bob and Jane (Wickliff) Mouchka, was born on August 01, 1987 in Iowa City. He lived in Newton all of his life and graduated from Newton High School in 2006. He then completed secondary education courses through DMACC. Andrew had most recently been working for Whirlpool in Middle Amana. He enjoyed gaming, painting, and being with friends.

Andrew is survived by his mother, Jane Mouchka of Newton; siblings, Randy Mouchka of West Des Moines, Roger (Becky) Mouchka of Newton, Vicki (Rod) Wright of Newton, and Rick Mouchka of Norfolk, Nebraska; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Mouchka, Craig Mouchka (Kelsie Goodman), Jonathan (Amanda) Wright, Eric (Abby) Mouchka, and Lauren Mouchka; and his great nieces and nephew, Madilynn, Riley, and Bailey. He was preceded in death by his dad, Bob Mouchka; maternal and paternal grandparents; sister-in-law, Diane Mouchka; and niece, Stephanie Sparks.
