Clement Lewis, Mingo, Dies Last Night at Home
Mingo (Special to The Daily News) – Clement A. Lewis, 81, former salesman, farmer and railroad man, died at 6:15 o’clock Friday evening at his home in Mingo. Mr. Lewis had been in failing health several years. A heart attack was given as the cause of death.
No funeral arrangements have been announced yet. The body is lying in state at the Boyd Funeral Home in Baxter.
Mr. Lewis was born Jan. 8, 1867, at Elkton, Ky. He married Blanchie Bailey Sept. 9, 1901, at Hermitage, Mo. He came to Mingo in 1919.
Survivors include four children, Mrs. Mary E. Warner of Mingo, Chesley A. Lewis of Chicago, Ill., Harold K. Lewis of Chicago and Mrs. Aphleen Kendig of San Diego, Cal.
