Anthony Lee "Tony" Cooper, 63, of Newton, passed away Tuesday evening, November 30, 2021, at his home.

A funeral service for Tony will be at a later date, and the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, have been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorials are being designated to Tony's family or to a charity of your choosing.

Tony the son of Carwin Lee and Marjorie (Kerwood) Cooper, was born October 19, 1958, in Iowa. He graduated from Ankeny high school and attended DMACC in Ankeny

On March 13, 1996, Tony was united in marriage with Jannelle R. Stevenson. He had worked as a cook in a Frat Houses at Iowa State University. He loved Jesus as his own, and Tony will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters: Annett Mettler and Malisa Slaughter.

He is survived by his wife Jannelle; his son Benjamin Cooper; his daughter Whitney Horrach; his step-daughter Jenny Mohn; his brothers: Craig Cooper and Robert Kerwood; a sister Chrissy Seaholm; and many extended family and friends.
