Vandalia – Vernon C. Lovell, 68, of Vandalia, died Friday, Jan. 16, at mercy Hospital Medical Center.
Funeral services were held today at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. Burial was at Vandalia Cemetery.
The son of Henry and Clella Noon Lovell, he was born March 3, 1929 in Vandalia.
A lifelong resident of Vandalia, he was a retired custodian from South East Polk schools.
Survivors include a sister, Kaye Lovell of Vandalia and his mother.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
