Montgomery’s Rites Saturday
Services for Charles Montgomery, 62, who died Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran hospital following a long illness, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton’s funeral home. Burial will be in Vandalia cemetery, southeast of Des Moines.
Mr. Montgomery, who lived at 2757 E. Indianapolis Ave., attended Grandview Baptist church. He had been employed as a finisher at Solar Aircraft Corp. before his illness.
Survivors are his widow, Lottie; three daughters, all of Des Moines, Mrs. Ida Mae Cronk, Mrs. Kathryn Lamb and Mrs. Betty Hanks, and three grandchildren.
