Vandalia and Vicinity News – Funeral services for Frank Murray were held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Des Moines, then the body was brought to the church here, where near relatives and friends could see him once more. Interment was in the Vandalia cemetery.
Some of those that attended the funeral werer his relatives from Des Moines. Mrs. R. L. Anderson, Mrs. Osa Farrar and son, Foster of Vandalia, Mr. and Mrs. Val Brunner, Mrs. Frank Brunner and Rolla White and daughter Catherine from Prairie City, Jennie Cavett from Des Moines and Roy Wicker from Mitchellville, all of whom were relatives, and Judge Frank Shankland from Des Moines.
