Wilma I. Overton, 73, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at Mitchell Village Care Center. The body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Wilma Overton was the oldest of five daughters born to Fred and Colista Hensley. She had four children. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Chamberlain of Booneville,Ia and Cinda Althaus of Des Moines,Ia and her sisters Nancy Andresen and Judy Hemingson of Des Moines,Ia Barbara Williams of Las Vegas, and Janet Clinton of Battle Ground, WA. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelly Althaus and her son, Steve Overton, her granddaughter, Erica and her parents. Her life was blessed with 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
