Knoxville – Funeral services for Daniel Dean Cross, infant son of Bennie and Norma Elam Cross of Knoxville, were held today, Sept. 26, at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe.
The Rev. Wayne Ryan, pastor of the Knoxville Free Methodist church, conducted services. Burial was in the Vandalia Cemetery.
He died Friday at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital.
Also surviving are his paternal grandparents, Robert and Joyce Cross Sr. of Newton; his maternal grandparents, Harold and Charlotte Elam of Monroe; and his paternal great-great-grandmother, Lona Sutton of Laurel.
The child was born Aug. 4, 1988 in Newton.
