Mrs. Maud Brewer, 86, of 1125 Lewis Ave. died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Medicenter of America, 233 University Ave., after a one-year illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Assembly Church, with burial in Vandalia Cemetery.
Mrs. Brewer was born in Runnells and lived in Melrose before moving to Des Moines 27 years ago. She was a member of Grace Assembly Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Elva McNamara of St. Cloud, Minn., Edith Stay of Princeton, Minn., Velma Gage and Helen Carlson, both of Des Moines; a son, Paul of Foley, Minn.; 25 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Grace Assembly Church.
Hamilton’s Funeral home is in charge of service arrangements.
