Services for Ralph Dale Wallace, 62, of 1914 Center St., will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery.
Mr. Wallace died Saturday at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital of complications following surgery.
Born in Runnells, he was a Des Moines resident 60 years. He was a driver for Yellow Cab Co.
Surviving are his wife, Ella; three sons, Ralph, Jr., and Robert D., both of Des Moines, and Eldon of Texas City, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Patricia Range of Fort Collins, Colo., Mrs. Nona Ray of West Des Moines; Mrs. Betty Jo Sinn of Rock Falls, Ill., and Mrs. Penni Howard of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Fred Wallace of Des Moines; four sisters, Mrs. Edith Elliott and Mrs. Gertrude Davis, both of Des Moines, Mrs. Grace Breese of Runnells and Mrs. Laura Bryson of Council Bluffs, and 18 grandchildren.
