Rites Sunday For Mrs. Ingle
Services for Mrs. Electa G. Ingle, 79, of Runnells, who died of cancer Thursday at Des Moines General Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Christ in Vandalia. Burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery.
Mrs. Ingle, who had been ill since November, was born in Iowa and lived most of her life in Polk County. She was a member of Vandalia Church of Christ.
Surviving are nine sons, Goldie, Walter and Glenn of Des Moines, Paul and Gilbert of Runnells, Lester of Iowa Falls, Harold of Newton, Marvin of Vandalia and Vern of Swan; a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Duckstein of Runnells, two brothers, Josiah and Lowman Miller of Vandalia; a sister, Mrs. Alsina Stuart of Altoona, 26 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

Services Held Sunday For Mrs. Electa Ingle
Funeral services were held June 13 for Mrs. Electa Ingle, a member of the Vandalia Church of Christ. Officiating at the services was Evangelist Winford Lee of Martinsville, Indiana.
A quartet consisted of Mrs. Robert Bradford, Mrs. Dean Hayes, Dean Hayes and Alvin Brown. Bearers were Duane Ingle, Keith Ingle, Max Ingle, Neal Ingle, Ned Ingle and Norman Ingle.
Flower tributes were arranged by Mrs. Delmar Schell, Mrs. Earl Williams and Miss Leta Schlosser.
Interment was at Vandalia Cemetery.
Life Story
Electa Georgia Ingle, daughter of George and Eliza Miller, was born near Vandalia, Iowa November 14, 1885, and departed this life June 10, 1965 at the age of 79 years, 6 months and 27 days.
Except for a short time in Monroe County, she lived in the Vandalia and Runnells vicinity all her life.
She was buried with her Lord in baptism May 5, 1900 and was a faithful member until death never questioning the Lord’s judgment but trusted him through all her suffering.
She was united in marriage to Charley Ingle Mar. 30, 1904, and to this union thirteen children were born, one boy and two girls preceding her in death.
She leaves to mourn her passing nine sons and one daughter, Goldie, Walter and Glenn of Des Moines, Harold of Newton, Paul, Gilbert of Runnells, Marvin of Prairie City, Vern of Swan, and Lester of Iowa Falls, a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Duckstein of Runnells, 9 daughters-in-law and 1 son-in-law, 26 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Sina Stuart of Altoona and two brothers, Lowman Miller and J. C. Miller, both of Prairie City.
She was a good mother and made many friends throughout her life. She loved her home and family.
