Saddened Home – The happy home of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Allen, in Independence township, is now under the shadow of a great sorrow. Their children have all been down with the measles, but the worst was supposed to have been passed, when their bright little boy, Frank M., aged seven years, and nine months, took a relapse, and in spite of tender care, last Monday morning passed “over the River.”
This is the first death in Mr. Allen’s family, and comes with such cruel force, as to be almost more than they can bear up under. We truly sympathize with them.
