Died, at his home, on Wednesday, November 19, 1890, Absolom G. Bridges, of consumption. The funeral was conducted at the home on Thursday, at 2 o’clock p.m., by Rev. J. W. Lewis, after which a large number of friends and neighbors followed the remains to the family cemetery where they were laid to rest. - Newton Journal, Nov. 26
