Jacob Baldwin Died December 17
Jacob Frederick Baldwin, son of Daniel and Frances McClannahan Baldwin was born Jan. 10, 1887 on a farm near Mingo. He passed away Dec. 17, 1973 at the Nevada hospital at the age of 86 years. He was married to Katie Altes and she passed away July 7, 1961. To this union were born 2 daughters, Iona Dystra of Cambridge and Lucile Skinner of Maxwell.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; also one brother, Wess of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Clement of Maxwell and Ruby Jones of Arco, Idaho and several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted Dec. 20 at Farrar United Methodist Church by pastor Lester Hesseltine. Music by Doris Norton and Alice Gooden. In charge of the flowers were Emma Mead and Marie Hill.
Bearers were Wayne Baldwin, Clifford Baldwin, Roy Baldwin, Merle Planalp, Charles Battles, and Reginald McClannahan.
Burial was in Graham Cemetery.

Farrar News – The funeral of Jacob Baldwin was held at the Farrar Methodist church Thursday afternoon with burial in the Graham cemetery. He was a longtime resident of the Farrar community and passed away at the Story county hospital Dec. 17th.
