Services Friday For Elsie Wassenaar
Funeral services for Elsie Wassenaar, 57, of Mt. Pleasant, former Prairie City resident, were held Friday afternoon at Walters funeral home in Prairie City.
The Rev. Mark Sullivan, pastor of the Prairie City Methodist church was in charge. Burial was at Griffits cemetery at Prairie City.
She is survived by a brother, Harry Wassenaar of Prairie City and a sister, Mrs. Gene (Louise) Allen of Monroe.
Miss Wassenaar died last Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant.
She was born near Monroe March 20, 1902, the daughter of Harry and Hattie Wassenaar.
