Mrs. Margaret Tripp died last Saturday evening at the residence of her son-in-law, Thomas Dinsmore, in Clear Creek township, after an illness of less than one week.
Her funeral was from the Center school house, in the same township, last Monday, at 1 p.m., the exercise being conducted by Rev. Rose, of Baxter, and the interment was at the Ashton cemetery, where the husband and children of deceased are also buried.
Mrs. Tripp was a pioneer of the township and county. She was the mother of eleven children, of whom but three survive: Garner, David and Robert.
The funeral was generally attended by the people of the neighborhood, who have long known and esteemed the worthy woman.
