Frank Bailey, 79, died at his home Wednesday, April 20, 1938 at 11:00 a.m., after a brief illness. He was born and grew up on the farm where he died southeast of Farrar. He married Eliza Lowe, Feb. 21, 1882 and five children, Mrs. Everett Gardner of Farrar, Charles of Brooten, Minn., Harry of Eagle Butte, South Dakota, Mrs. Bert Clement of Rhodes and Joe Bailey of Maxwell and nineteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren survive.
He united with the M. E. Church at 14 years and later with the Farrar M. P. Church.
The funeral services were held at the at the Farrar church Friday at 2 p.m. Music was furnished by Mrs. Thelma McClannahan, Mrs. Glen Huggins, Mrs. A. S. Tomlinson, E. B. Battles and S. M. Payne. Pall bearers ere A. S. Gifford, M. E. Bailey, Enoch Bailey, Roy Davey, Fred Battles and Wm. Rooney. Burial was in the Sams cemetery beside his children.
