W. J. Frace, an old citizen of Poweshiek township, and well known throughout the county, died yesterday morning, at his home near Oswalt, of heart disease; aged 67 years and 6 months. Mr. Frace had resided in Poweshiek township since 1855. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, and a citizen who earned the respect and esteem of his neighbors by his sterling integrity. A wife and seven children – six sons and one daughter survive him. The funeral was from the home this morning at 9:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Cr. R. Hunt, of Colfax, and the remains were interred at the McKeever graveyard.
