Death, the sabled winged messenger, has come to the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Heberer, and claimed as his victim their only darling little girl, Rene, aged 15 months and 20 days. Out of a family of five children, three little boys survive, one little boy preceded this one some years ago. Rene was a bright, little jewel. The mother, father and little boys almost made her their idol. Delicate and frail, she came just long enough to make a place in loving hearts. Oh, the speechless witnesses that testify that she was here to bless their home but a few fleeting months. Little Rene has gone like a little bird from its nest, to where no disease, pain or death can reach her. Well might the poet say:

The funeral was held at the house at 8 a.m., March 6, by Rev. Ewan. The little form was laid to rest in the Graham cemetery. From a friend.
