Marianne B. Wagner, 80, of Newton, IA, formerly of Albion, IA, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020, at her residence. Private Graveside Services will be held at this time. A Funeral Service will be held at a later date, after state mandates have been lifted. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown. Marianne Bea Wagner was born on January 8, 1940, to Lloyd and Mary Helen Graham in Taylor County, IA. She was a lifelong member of the Liscomb Church of Christ. Marianne attended the Liscomb Community School graduating in 1958. She then worked at Marshall Manufacturing for two years where she met and married Richard M. Grewell. They had one daughter together, Cynthia Lea Parsons. After their home in rural Albion burned, they moved into the town of Albion. In 1966, when Lloyd Graham died unexpectedly, the family moved back to Marianne's home farm to help Helen Graham. Marianne and Richard divorced in 1970 and Marianne married Earl Wagner in 1972. In 1979, they adopted a son, Joseph David Wagner. Marianne and Earl bred Boston Terriers for many years. They shared a love of family, the outdoors, mowing lawns, and gardening. Marianne loved to knit, sew, and visit friends.

Marianne is survived by her children: Cindy (Steve) Parsons and Joe (Angela) Wagner; grandchildren Christina (Tyler Vorthmann) Stone, Catherine (David Swallow) Delay, John Delay, Caleb Wagner, Fallen Lewis, Sage Lewis; great grandchildren Eban Stone, Lorelai Swallow.
